Whiteley's bestselling classic The Customer-Driven Company (Addison Wesley, 1991) which was chosen by Forbes magazine as one of the top four books of the year and by Human Resource Executive as one of the top ten of the decade. Most recently, Annie was the collaborative writer on Love the Work You're With: Find the Job You've Always Wanted Without Leaving the One You Have (by Richard Whitely, John Wiley and Sons, 2000). Annie's work as a collaborative business writer has immersed her in the business practices, people strategies and work-life attitudes that lead to greater profitability and personal satisfaction in Corporate America. She has researched countless companies and leaders and cutting-edge management practices. Her desire is to impart what she has learned to non-"Corporate" America: to an industry primarily comprised of sole proprietors who are driven into the industry by their passion but find themselves desperate for business and work-life know-how. Annie was educated at Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA and majored in Communication Studies.
